During this time, our group has established a network with the aim of maximizing the academic training between research groups from Europe and Latin American universities in the field of clean technologies based on bioprocess and environmental sustainability. This network has promoted the mobility of researchers (PhD students and Postdoctoral fellows) between the universities involved in the project. Among the technologies integrated in the project were leaching, oxidation, biosorption, bioremediation, and biofiltration of gases and  bioreduction of sulphate.
